I use e-Sword for years and I appreciate it very much. I would like to have the possibility to add the many modules that I created for my personal use.

The best app for real Bible students in English for non English. Great tool to prepare short and long lectures base on some verses. Have to fine tune copying in parallel mode as no verse (book, chapter) is given and the paste is not exactly matching what you selected and copied. Many versions. Extra version you can add via iFunbox
I have bought it, but it not have italians version bibles, on esword version for pc have 3 italians version bibles. I have lost my money ::( Please add italian bible
Thanks, phantastic.
My go to electronic Bible. Biggest plus for me is being able to make notes and link them to verses without having to be online or share them. Love this app on my iPad Mini!!
As with others I use e-Sword on my computer. I love the application in all incarnations. I especially like access to the old College Press Bible Textbook Commentaries on the iPad. Wish I could access from iPhone as well.
This is a great bible app, rich in features and functionality yet is to use. Good job!
Ive purchased several Bible apps, and IMHO his one is easily the best and most powerful, for serious students who may wish to purchase additional add-ons such as commentaries. If you just want a basic Bible, this one will still serve you very well.
Old school ish format....I like it..works for me! Highlighting has gotten much better! Wish the pages turn more like a real paper one ...still like it tho
I have the desktop version and the Ipad version I love them both. It took a while to get used to the ipad version due to on the desktop all references was right there in view, with ipad you switch to the view you want...... I recommend it.
This has everything Ive been looking for. Easy to use and add to.
Been using e-Sword on Windows for years but having it on my tablet adds more convenience and portability. This is the best all around method I know of for maintaining multiple versions of the Bible and commentaries for easy lookup, comparison and word/verse search. Downloadable documents are also available within the app. The only reason Id use a paper Bible is if I didnt have a way to charge my iPad.
I am so thankful for the great help e-sword has been in my study of the Bible. There are great commentaries and dictionaries too! I am being blessed by the old Webster Dictionary of the 1800s. What a storehouse of information to help me along the Christian path of learning and knowing the truth of Gods Word.
Ive supported and used e-sword for many years and the apps just keep getting better!!!
As much or as little as you need or want, eSword covers the Scripture. I havent made use of all the features, but WOW! I am amazed. Our family has had eSword for quite a few years and it is our number one Bible app. Personally, some of my favorite features are the Commentaries, the extra books you can add to your Resources, the Maps, and the parallel feature of reading Scripture. I am a little disappointed that this latest IOSX version wasnt free - as the author has done his best to provide so much for so long free of charge. However, I know that it took a great deal of time, resources and effort to provide eSword to IOS users. In this day and time, cant begrudge this man proper pay for a wonderful study tool. My current Bible, long in the tooth and starting to fall apart, might be nearing retirement age. As Ive heard quite a few times, "when one Bible gives out, get another!" I use the Scofield Study System with my current Bible, but with so many additional study helps available as well, I can get a much richer understanding. We have a Matthew Henry Commentary in book form, but its huge! With a few keystrokes, I can pull up that book and not worry about the weight, or shuffling from one book-form resource to another (without dropping them all!), Maps are always intriguing; finding where places were/are makes Biblical history and geography stand out. I am not a "King-James-or-nothing" reader. There are verses that just NEED that kind of majestic wording. However, I have found that reading a verse in several versions at once (parallel),I have come to understand meanings better. I also use this feature when finding just the right wording I need when working with another app - Scripture Typer (a verse memory system). I highly recommend this app - whether you want to dig out every scrap of information you can .... or, you are new to electronic Scripture and want a tidy, easy to use Bible.
This app is just as good on the iPad as it is on the PC. Totally worth 5 stars!!!
I was so amazed the first time I used this app. It is organized in a spacious, intuitive way. The resources available are extensive. I have yet to tap into all the app has to offer. So amazing!
I have used e-sword for years and was very happy when it came out with an app for the iPad. It works great. I use it almost everyday in my Bible reading and study time. It is so convenient to compare scriptures, look up the Strongs meanings and the different commentaries. I would highly recommend this app for any Bible study teacher or scholar.
For those who love Gods word, this is a must app. Easy to use, and intuitive. I love how you can switch between full screen notes, Bible, commentary, etc... Way better than split screen views -- especially on smaller devices. Note that there are hundreds of Bibles, commentaries, and dictionaries available. (Most are free, and few are premium modules, consisting of modern translations and other resources.) Note also that you can go to e-sword.net and download the apple converter, and then go to biblesupport.com and download thousands more modules! (They will need converted and moved to your device by using ifun Apple manager.) Thanks and may God bless you, Rick (e-sword creator). --PDB
Im glad I had the chance to purchase it here. Its still a great study tool over all these years.
