e-Sword HD: Bible Study to Go App Reviews

I really appreciate all the work Rick Myers has put into this tool. But like with every good tool there are things that can be improved. One of these things is that it would be super if the iPad version offered the possibility to import your desktop notes and additional material.

I wont be updating my program, as the ability to highlight words or parts of verses has apparently been removed. Now you can only highlight an entire verse, or nothing. I specifically abandoned a different app and bought this one, so I would have the ability to highlight single words or phrases. Very very disappointed to hear this. Used to be five stars, hopefully this will be corrected ASAP. Its a deal breaker for me.

Im so glad to have this important tool now availible for my iPad.

I have used e-Sword since it first came out for the pc. It has a useful layout without a lot of unnecessary functions. I would recommend giving it a try!

Awesome tool to use for personal Bible studying! I have the software on my computer as well, and it is also very handy on the go on iPad.

So many modules of dubious usefulness and the best cost so much. Use the app almost every day. A great option.

I love e-sword on my PC and was very glad it became available for the ipad. Works great for me.

I have used E-Sword on my PC for a number of years and it has always been my favourite bible software. Since it has been ported to mobile devices it is still the only bible app I use. It is feature rich and easy to use. Downloading of bible versions and resources work seamlessly. As well, the developers continue to update and enhance the software. There are some good bible software apps out there, but E-Sword continues to be my favourite. Many thanks to the developers for this great app!

I love doing my Bible study with e-sword app. So easy to use and highly recommended.

I have been using the program on my PC for years and find the app to be every bit as effective. Great all around Bible study resource.

I was a little put off that the format is different than my PC version, but I do love my E Sword for iPad.

The best Bible app for ipad, however, a recent update made it impossible to highlight part of a verse, you must now highlight the entire verse. Restoring the ability to highlight a portion of a verse would greatly improve.

More than enough resourses to know and to belive The Almighty God ,Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit. God Bless You !!

It is a must have for bible study, I found it very useful, wouldnt want to be without it.

This app is great for study but I wish it would sync with my computer though. Otherwise its great for study notes, and daily reading

Because it gives us the possibility of learning how to read and understand the Bible in the original languages and classical Latin and to compare them with different English or other versions in modern languages. I know not of any other tool of the kind and I think that it is a formidable and empowering system in itself.

It is an excellent and very helpful tool to find scriptures, compare them with other translations and write down a quick note on what a certain passage reveals to you. The features are so rich, I havent explored them all yet.
